Reason Studios выпустила новую версию DAW Reason 12. Программа получила улучшенную функциональность Rack Extensions, переработанный Combinator и новый сэмплер.
Обновление приносит множественные улучшения Rack для работы с расширениями, новый сэмплер Mimic Creative Sampler и переработанную функциональность раздела Combinator.
Новая версия Reason 12 улучшает пользовательский опыт и расширяет список доступных функций, отмечают разработчики. Согласно заявлению компании, новинка улучшает общее удобство использования: так, например, программа получила полностью масштабируемый интерфейс основного окна программы и дополнений Rack Extensions.

Отмечается, что весь Reason Rack, равно как и расширения от сторонних разработчиков, будут автоматически адаптироваться под размеры дисплея. Пользователи смогут свободно изменять масштаб окон, увеличивать или уменьшать элементы интерфейса плагинов.

Reason 12 также получил новый плагин Mimic Creative Sampler, который, по мнению создателей, значительно расширяет возможности сэмплирования программы. Новинка объединяет возможности тайм-стретчинга и бит-слайсинга с движком гранулированного синтеза, что делает сэмплирование «креативным и весёлым».

Сэмплер предлагает четыре режима сэмплирования — Pitch, Slice, Multi Slot, Multi Pitch. По словам создателей, Mimic позволяет создавать комплексные мультисэмплы в несколько кликов. Интерфейс плагина отличается простотой: все элементы управления, регуляторы настроек и прочие ручки выведены на передний план.

Для более удобной работы Reason Studios переработала функциональность инструмента Combinator. Так, например, секция получила больше CV-входов и возможностей управления, поддерживает больше патчей и упрощает программирование. «Комбинатор» получил улучшенные макросы, а также новый редактор для более быстрого создания интерфейсов.

Обновление также затронуло встроенный в программу браузер и возможности поиска по библиотеке контента. Поиск информации происходит теперь в реальном времени, а DAW отображает результаты по мере набора поискового запроса.

В состав Reason 12 также вошёл новый банк звуков. Еженедельные наборы Reason+ также будут обновлены для обеспечения совместимости с новыми возможностями программы.
